How do you get a grateful attitude?

It’s a question I’ve been asking myself. It’s easy to lose perspective when things get stressful.

Last week, I sat at my gratitude journal and took long minutes recalling a few blessings. But, then I watched the popular Broadway show Hamilton. And remembered that being born in my country and time is an incredible blessing.

Why is it so easy to forget this? And can inspiring gratitude quotes help?
