17. Candy Bar Dice Game
Players: 4+
Goal: Players try to collect the most candy bars!
How to Play:
- Sit in a circle and place all candy bars in the center.
- Set a timer for 5 minutes.
- Players take turns rolling the dice and immediately passing them.
- If you roll doubles, that player takes a candy bar from the pile in the middle of the circle or steals one from another player.
- Keep rolling and passing the dice quickly the entire time.
- When the timer ends, everyone keeps whatever candy bars they have in front of them.

Players: 2+
Goal: Answer a truth or you get a dare!
How to Play: Use this list of truth or dare prompts. Players must answer the truth question or complete a dare!
19. Telestrations
Players: 2+
Goal: One person draws while others race to guess the word.
How to Play:
- Give each player a stack of paper and a pencil. Plus, you’ll need to write down the list of Telestration words and phrases beforehand (Or use the ready-made printable cards in the digital shop.)
- On the first sheet of your stack, write a secret word or phrase. Keep it hidden from everyone else!
- Pass your stack to the person on your right. They look at the word, flip to the next sheet, and draw what they think it means.
- Pass the stack again. This time, the next person looks at the drawing only, flips to the next sheet, and writes a new word or phrase based on the drawing they see.
- Keep passing the stacks around the circle, alternating between drawing and writing, until everyone gets their original stack back.
- Take turns flipping through the pages and reading each step aloud. Watch the original word transform into something completely hilarious!
20. Mad Libs
Players: 2+
Goal: Players add random nouns, verbs, and adjectives to create a hilarious and completely unpredictable story.
How to Play:
- One player is given the story containing blank spaces. Each space is labeled for a specific part of speech, such as an adjective, noun, or verb. Or a category like a number, food, or person.
- Without revealing the story, this player asks the others to supply words for each blank.
- Once all the blanks are filled, the completed story is read aloud, leading to hilarious results!

21. Heads Up
Players: 2+
Goal: Guess the word before the timer runs out.
How to Play: One player holds the phone to their forehead with a word showing on the screen. Other players give clues while the timer counts down. Guess as many words as possible before time runs out.
22. Top 5
Players: 2+
Goal: Have fun discussing different topics!
How to Play:
- Decide on 5-10 topics. Then, gather notecards and write the topics at the top. (Each person needs a set)
- Next, each person writes their “top 5” for that topic in descending order. Topics could include: Disney movies, Christmas decorations, coffee preferences, worst advice – you can do anything!
- Once everyone is done writing their top 5, discuss.
23. Fishbowl Game
Players: 2+
Goal: Players draw words or phrases from a bowl, and then team members guess in three distinctive rounds (within a set time). The way you give hints changes for each round.
A typical Fishbowl game usually has three rounds:
- Password
- Taboo
- Charades
How to Play:
- Distribute 3-5 paper strips to each player.
- On each strip, players write down a word or phrase (person, place, thing, or feeling) or get the ready-made cards to use easily here.
- Fold up the paper strips with the words written on them and place them in the fishbowl.
- Set a one-minute timer. Each word or phrase guessed correctly within the time earns one point for the team. There are 3 rounds of play described below.
- To start Round 1, a player from Team A draws a paper and gives clues to their team. Their team will try to guess as many words drawn as possible before the time runs out. Team B then takes their turn. Continue alternating between teams until all words are guessed and the fishbowl is empty.
- Return the cards to the fishbowl for reuse, and Round 2 begins.
- Play continues following the rules for Round 2 and Round 3.
24. Unwrap The Candy Bar Dice Game
Players: 2+
Goal: Roll the dice and try to unwrap the candy bar using a knife and a fork while wearing oven mitts.
How to Play:
- Sit in a circle and place one or two wrapped candy bars in the center with the utensils and mitts.
- Players take turns rolling the dice around the circle.
- If someone rolls doubles, they put on the oven mitts and use the knife and fork to try to unwrap the candy bar.
- Meanwhile, everyone else keeps taking turns rolling the dice as fast as possible.
- When another player rolls doubles, they put on the oven mitts and take over unwrapping the candy bar immediately.
- The player who finally unwraps the candy bar gets the prize and can start eating the chocolate right away if they want to! But watch out! As soon as another player rolls doubles, the candy bar gets passed to them, and it becomes their turn to unwrap and eat.
25. Have A Lego-Building Contest
Players: 2+
Goal: Build the most creative Lego creation.
How to Play: Give each player the same amount of Lego bricks and choose a theme such as “dream house,” “animal,” “vehicle,” or “amusement park.” Or use these free Lego challenge cards to come up with creating building ideas.
Set a building time limit and let everyone get creative. When time is up, have everyone show off their creations and vote on categories like funniest, most creative, or most impressive build.
26. Guess The Topping
Players: 2+
Goal: Guess the caramel apple topping while blindfolded.
How to Play: Set out several toppings such as crushed cookies, sprinkles, coconut, mini chocolate chips, peanuts, pretzels, or candy pieces.
Blindfold one player and let them sample a small bite of each topping. Players earn a point for every topping they identify correctly.
After the game, everyone can create their own caramel apples using their favorite toppings.
27. Pillowcase Memories
Players: 2+
Goal: Create a sleepover keepsake.
How to Play: Have everyone sign each other’s pillowcases with fabric markers and write fun memories.
28. Play Card or Dice Games
Players: 2+
Goal: Win the chosen card or dice game!
How to Play: Pull out a deck of cards or a pair of dice and play classic games like Spoons, Go Fish, War, Crazy Eights, Race to 50, Bunco, or Pig.

29. Play Flashlight Tag
Players: 3+
Goal: Avoid being caught by the player holding the flashlight.
How to Play: When it’s dark outside, designate one player as “It” and give them a flashlight.
Players hide around the yard while “It” searches using only the flashlight beam. If the flashlight lands on a player and “It” correctly identifies them, that player is out or becomes the next “It.”
Be sure to establish boundaries and safety rules before starting.
30. Reverse Hide-and-Seek (Sardines)
Players: 4+
Goal: Be the last player to find the hidden person.
How to Play: One player hides. As others find them, they quietly squeeze into the hiding spot until only one player remains searching.
