Give students a list of colors to find:

• Red
• Orange
• Yellow
• Green
• Brown

They can find leaves or other natural objects that match each color.

If you’re staying inside, hide colored paper leaves around the classroom instead.

26. Pumpkin Math Word Hunt

Turn math practice into a fun fall scavenger hunt!

Before the game, write math problems on paper pumpkins and hide them around the classroom. Each pumpkin should have a letter on the back that students will earn when they solve the problem correctly.

Divide students into small teams and give each team a recording sheet. Students search for the pumpkins, solve the math problems, and record their answers. Once they have solved all of the problems, they use the letters they collected to spell a secret fall word.
