Supplies You Need

To get started, gather the following:

  • A bag of Skittles in classic colors (you can also give each person a fun-size pack)
  • The free printable Gratitude Skittles Game (found at the bottom of this post)
  • A bowl or cup (optional)

This game can be played many different ways! You can substitute:

How to Play The Gratitude Skittles Game

There are two ways to play:

1. Pass out your Skittles. Each person picks out one or two skittles. Based on the color picked, they share the corresponding thing they are thankful for.

2 – Dump an entire bag of Skittles into a cup or bowl. Pass the cup around and have players pick a candy without looking. Based on the color picked, they share the corresponding thing they are thankful for.

  • Red: Name a person you are thankful for.
  • Green: Name a place that lifts your mood or feels like home.
  • Yellow: Name something small but mighty that brightens your day.
  • Purple: Name an adventure (big or small) that you’ll never forget.
  • Orange: Name something you’d miss dearly if it disappeared tomorrow.
