Love jumps hurdles

Here are 3 ideas to consider:

Quote of the Week

1. “Love recognizes no barriers. It jumps hurdles, leaps fences, penetrates walls to arrive at its destination full of hope.” – Maya Angelou

Self Love Month = Letting Go

2. Doubling down on the wrong thing doesn’t make it the right thing. Sometimes what you need is to let go.

How do you know? You’ll feel it. You just have to listen to yourself.

  • people who leave you feeling drained or bad
  • projects that leave you uninspired
  • places that make you feel hopeless or sad
  • beliefs that are keeping you in place

Yes, it’s the month of love. But that includes self-love. And that might mean making room for better. You deserve the best, friend.

Quick Tip for Building a New Habit

3. Trying to start a new routine or habit? Tracking your progress can make ALL the difference.

When I first began getting up early, I stuck a marble in a jar each morning for 66 days (the time it takes to solidify a habit). I told myself that if I could quit without the guilt after 2 months.

That was 3 years ago, and I get up even earlier these days.

It’s not to say you have to get up early. It works for me, but it might not for you. The point is that tracking builds awareness and locks in motivation. Two key essentials for when the going gets tough.
