5 Second Game Rules: Relationship Edition

Objective
Score points by naming three things in a category within 5 seconds.

- 5 Second Rule Game Questions
- A timer that makes a sound (use your phone!)
- Scorecard & Pen

1. Decide who will be in the Hot Seat first.
2. The Hot Seat player’s partner reads a question aloud.
3. Start the 5-second timer immediately after the question is read. The Hot Seat player has only 5 seconds to name 3 answers. If they succeed, they earn one point.
4. If the Hot Seat player can’t come up with 3 answers in time, no points are given, and their partner gets a chance to answer. The partner has 5 seconds to answer the same question but must come up with 3 different answers than those already mentioned.
5. Continue alternating turns until one player can name 3 answers within 5 seconds and wins the point for that round.
6. If both players are stumped, the original player in the Hot Seat scores a point by default.
7. Take turns asking and answering new questions each round. The player with the most points at the end wins!
