The little things

Good morning.

I’ve been thinking about how much of life is built in the little things.

The games we play together. The smells we remember. The simple routines that become part of us.

None of it feels particularly important in the moment.

But somehow, those are the things that shape us.

So here’s what’s on the table today. Some easy fun, a little inspiration, and a few reminders to enjoy the season you’re in.

Pull up a chair. Your seat is waiting.

HAPPY THANKFUL THURSDAY!

This week, I’m thankful for…

My home. A place to gather, make memories, feel safe, and simply be ourselves.

The smell of something baking. My daughter made pumpkin muffins over the weekend, and that smell alone made the whole kitchen feel like fall.

The changing seasons. Cooler temperatures, colorful leaves, and that feeling of a fresh start that comes with a new season.

FOOD FOR THOUGHT

What is one ordinary part of your day that you might miss if it suddenly disappeared?

Sometimes the things that feel most ordinary (like dinner around the table or a child’s laugh from the next room) are the things we’ll wish we could have back someday.

Take a second to notice one of them today.
