Don’t just wish. Plan
Here are 3 ideas to consider:
Quote of the Week
1. “It takes as much energy to wish as it does to plan.” ― Eleanor Roosevelt
It Doesn’t Have to Be So Serious
2. This time of year we go big on resolutions. Dreaming, planning, and busting through glass ceilings make life meaningful.
But you’re more likely to repeat hard things if they’re fun. And since you only live once, having fun in life is worth striving for by itself too.
Here’s an example:
My January goal is to drink more green smoothies. This can get boring!
I’m adding an element of play by:
- Doing a 30-day challenge and getting my husband in on it
- Experimenting with fun toppings and ingredients
Keep it simple. Add a game, visual tracker, challenge, or bit of variety. Soon you’ll look forward to doing the right thing.
How can you make 2024 your single greatest year yet?
3. Is the new year a fresh start to…
- live more in the present?
- listen to your heart?
- Start a project you’ve been putting off?
- Let something go that’s weighing you down?
Whatever it is, take time to think about how you want your days to look. In our chaotic world, it takes intention for dreams, self-care, and family time to happen. Without it, you’ll get tossed in the endless waves of life.
