Wildly Entertaining Candy Heart Games to Play
For all of the games below, you’ll need a bag of Conversation candy hearts. Otherwise, each game has its own supplies, but they are all simple and easy to play.
1. Festive Candy Dice Game

This Candy Heart Dice Game for Valentine’s Day is a fast-paced, laughter-filled activity the whole family will love. With just a bowl of candy hearts (or whatever items you want!), a die, and a simple printable, you’ve got an instant game night hit that’s as adorable as it is fun.
2. Let’s Face It

This is a hilarious game where each player places a conversation heart on their forehead. The objective is to move the heart to their mouth using only facial muscles. It’s a race against time and gravity!
3. A Spoonful of Love Relay

Putting a spoon in their mouth, players have one minute to…
- Place candy hearts on their spoon
- Walk to a designated spot and back
- Drop the hearts in a bowl
- Repeat steps 1-3
When the timer goes off, the player with the most hearts in their bowl wins.
4. Roll a Heart Dice Game

Make It harder for teens and adults: Players must stack the hearts into three separate towers of at least six hearts each within one minute.

Players stand on a chair and drop conversation hearts into a jar or bowl on the floor. The person who successfully lands the most hearts in the jar within a minute wins.
To make it easier or harder: Modify the size of the bowl or jar depending on the age. For example, I gave my husband a tiny bowl to make it fair!

Run out of candy hearts? You can use any small type of candy or dried fruit (we used dried cranberries at Thanksgiving) for this game!

Players act out the phrase on their candy hearts without talking. The first person to guess correctly keeps the heart. Or add from this Valentine’s Day charades game for more options.

16. War of Hearts

This fun game is played like the card game War. This is an activity that would be great to add to your math practice or even use as a “special” Valentine Day game. Of course, you can always play this one past Valentine’s too.
17. “The floor is lava!” Game: Heart Rescue Edition
Just like in the basic game, players may NOT touch the bare floor. Instead, they use furniture, pillows, placemats, or other “stepping stones” to travel safely around the room. This is a fun game on its own, but you can theme it for Valentine’s Day by adding a “rescue” element to the game. Put conversation candy hearts in various places, and tell the kids that they need to “rescue” the hearts before the lava destroys them.
You can even add storytelling about how the candies are magical gemstones that hold great powers.
18. Tic tac toe

You can whip up this game in less than a minute! Draw a simple tic-tac-toe board and use two different colors of conversation hearts as the markers. Can you get three in a row?
19. Cup Shuffle Showdown
For this 4th of July Minute to win it game, I used a ping pong ball. But you could easily find some small Valentine’s Day cups and use a candy heart instead of a ball.

- Players line up their 3 cups upside down in a row. They put the candy under the middle cup.
- Next, one player must mix up the cups at least four times.
- The second player guesses which cup the candy is under. Continue for one minute.
- The team that guesses the most correctly after 60 seconds wins!
20. Cupid’s Guess Who
This game is perfect if all you have is a handful of candies. One player secretly chooses a heart phrase. Then, others ask yes-no questions to guess which phrase it is.
