How to Play the Christmas Dicebreaker Game

1. Print the free Christmas Dicebreaker game sheet.

2. Gather everyone together and give each player a chance to roll the dice.

3. Use two dice to play.

  • One die determines the ROW
  • The other die determines the COLUMN

Helpful Dice Tip: Using two different-colored dice makes the game easier to follow. Decide which color represents the rows and which represents the columns before you begin.

4. The youngest player rolls first. Then play continues clockwise.

5. On each turn, the player:

  • Rolls both dice.
  • Uses the first die to find the row.
  • Uses the second die to find the column.
  • Answers the Christmas icebreaker question where the row and column meet.

6. Give everyone a chance to share their answer. Encourage players to ask follow-up questions or share their own answers, too!

7. Keep taking turns until everyone has answered, or stop whenever you’re ready to move on to the next activity.
