How This Christmas Day Predictions Game Works

Everyone gets a Christmas Day Predictions printable and fills it out on Christmas Eve or sometime before the festivities begin.

The questions ask players to predict things that might happen during the day, such as:

• What time will the first person wake up?
• Who will open the first present?
• What time will the first present be opened?
• Who will be the first person to take a nap?
• Who will say, “I’m full” first?
• What Christmas movie will be watched?

Once Christmas Day gets underway, keep an eye out for the predictions coming true.

At the end of the day, go through the sheet together and give a point for every correct prediction. The person with the most points wins!

Supplies Needed

To play, you’ll want:

How to Play Christmas Day Predictions

1. Give each player a Christmas Day predictions printable on Christmas Eve or sometime before Christmas Day.

2. Everyone fills out the sheet by choosing their answers or writing in their best guesses.

3. Go about your Christmas Day! Open presents, eat Christmas dinner, watch movies, play games, visit family, and enjoy the day. As things happen, keep track of the predictions that come true.

4. At the end of Christmas Day, gather everyone together and go through the sheet. Give one point for each correct prediction.

5. Crown the champion! Add up the points and see who predicted Christmas Day the most accurately.

Of course, the real prize is getting to say, “I knew that was going to happen!”
