Small moments, sweet joy

Good morning, and welcome back to the table.

As we dive into this week’s challenge, I’d like to share about my journal. Each night (or the following morning), I write down three good things that happened to me that day. It’s a quick way to notice and savor what brings joy.

Over time, I’ve noticed something about these three highlights of the day. At least 1 (sometimes all 3) is a moment of connection.

Laughing with my daughter. Chatting in the car with my son. Coffee with a friend. Walking with my husband. A meal around the table.

This is teaching me that among my never-ending to-do list, there’s really only ONE priority.

To make space for these small moments of joy. Luckily, that’s what this newsletter is all about.
