My 9 March Goals – Week 1 of 4

Hi there! This series shares my goals, bucket list items, and progress made. Enjoy!

This Month’s Goals

My March goals were influenced by spring cleaning and renewal vibes. I also used spring bucket list ideas for inspiration.

1. Make a New Vision Board

I’ve been feeling scattered lately. Life has been so busy that I’m getting lost in the weeds of daily to-dos. The picture above shows the last vision board I made, which was in January of 2023. It’s time for a refresh.

I’ll be using these epic vision board examples to inspire the new one.

2. Read My March Challenge Book

After our reading specialist and a reader (thanks Deb!) gave the thumbs up, I’ve decided to go with:

March goals: killers of the flower moon

I ordered Killers of the Flower Moon today!

I also want to see the new movie, (broken up into a week because it’s so dang long.). So that will be a fun treat after I finish!

3. Clean out A Crazy Kid Room

My youngest can not go to sleep unless her room is clean. But to her, a “clean room” means nothing on the floor. Meanwhile, all her shelves look like this… 😂

My March goal is to sneak into her room and declutter the messes. More than anything, there are a lot of papers and trash, and clothes she’s too big for now.

4. Get Back to Gratitude Writing

For a long time, I was good at writing 3 daily blessings. And I loved how it made me feel. I started subconsciously looking for the good things in the day. But alas, this has been sporadic lately. So, my goal for March is to get it into the morning routine again.

5. Have a Little Holiday Fun With the Kids

My goal for this month is to do the:

St. Patrick’s Day Treasure Hunt:

St. Patrick's Day scavenger hunt for kids: great spring activity pdf

Or the Easter Treasure Hunt >>

Easter scavenger hunt free printable for kids; ideas; bunny; treasure; indoor

They’ll love either one! I also want to have my April Fool’s Pranks ready. Some people love Christmas. I enjoy freaking out my kids a whole lot more. 😉

6. Watch a Documentary (12 for the Year)

Last month, I watched “Save Our Squad.” I’m 1/12

7. Complete a “Dry” March

I adore 30-day challenges. They get you out of your comfort zone and help you reset when you need to pull back on something.

Once a year, I try to do a “dry” month – this means no alcohol for the month. I usually do it in January, but I wasn’t ready for a 30-day challenge then.

8. Finish Good Night Stories for Rebel Girls

Good night rebel girls, march goals

The girls and I have been LOVING the first book. It covers amazing women in the form of short stories.

I also have the second one ready to go. And since this month’s kids reading challenge is to read an inspiring book, it’s a perfect goal for us. So, for March, I’d like to read aloud both of these books.

9. Visit a new Coffee Shop

february goals, coffee shop fun

I loved last month’s coffee shop so much that I want to do this again!

I’ll update you every Monday to share how I’m doing with these goals.
