Simple moments, big memories
Good morning. I’ve been thinking about how quietly memories are made.
Usually, it doesn’t feel like we’re making one.
-It’s just a puzzle on the kitchen table.
-Watching an event together.
-A family game after dinner.
-Sitting outside a little longer than planned. Laughing about something completely ridiculous.
And then, years later, you realize those ordinary moments were actually the good stuff.
So today, let’s make room for a few more of them.
Pull up a chair. Your seat is waiting.

HAPPY THANKFUL THURSDAY!
This week, I’m thankful for…
-My youngest daughter got tubes in her ears last week. I’m so grateful for modern medicine and the doctors and nurses who helped her.
-A simple puzzle. My other daughter picked up the cutest bookshelf puzzle at a garage sale. And we’ve been having a lot of fun working on it on nights at home lately.
-Women’s sports on TV. Last weekend, we watched the KC Current soccer team and Nebraska volleyball. I’m so thankful that my daughters get to grow up having role models and examples that weren’t as common when I was younger.

MORE FROM THE TABLE
You don’t need an elaborate plan to make a family memory.
Sometimes all it takes is a game printed on paper, a few people around the table, and 20 minutes together.
That’s why so many of our readers (1,000+ so far this year) love the printable games in the shop.
They’re ready to play, easy to use with groups, and—most importantly—they give you a reason to put the phones down and gather.
The games are free on the site. The PDFs simply make gathering even easier.
