Find your calm today

Good morning, and welcome back to the table.

Can we talk about something caregivers are notoriously bad at?

Stopping.

There is always another load of laundry, another errand to run, another thing someone needs.

But today, I’m giving you permission to pause.

Even if it’s only for five quiet minutes.

Pull up a chair. Take a breath. Let’s make a little room for you, too.

TABLE WISDOM

“Your soul needs time for solitude and self-reflection. In order to love, lead, heal, and create, you must nourish yourself first.”

CHALLENGE OF THE WEEK

Take one quiet moment for yourself every day this week.

And I’m not talking about an hour at the spa (although YES, please).

I’m talking about 5–10 intentional minutes.

Put your phone down. Sit on the porch. Drink your coffee while it’s still hot. Take a walk around the block. Read two pages of a book. Sit in your car in complete silence. 😂

The only rule?

You don’t use the time to accomplish something.

Just pause.

Because when we’re constantly moving from one thing to the next, we don’t just lose our energy. We lose the opportunity to notice our own lives.

This week, practice being still long enough to hear yourself think.
