Start today

Good morning, and welcome back to the table.

What if one small thing you do today makes someone else’s entire day?

A kind word. An unexpected hug. A little help when someone needs it most.

We don’t always know what people are carrying. But we can always choose to make their load a little lighter.

So this week, we’re making room for laughter, meaningful conversations, and simple ways to spread a little kindness.

This FREE Thanksgiving Dice Game adds a fun twist to your holiday gathering

With a silly candy or pie swap that keeps everyone guessing until the very end!

Kelli says, “We LOVED the Halloween Candy Exchange Game! Just when you thought you were the big winner with the biggest pile of goodies, someone would roll and get to steal all your candy. It provided lots of laughs and screeches, but no hurt feelings because we kept a communal bowl of treats for everyone!”

(And this game is the Thanksgiving version!)

CHALLENGE OF THE WEEK

Commit to a daily act of kindness.

This week, take a few moments to do a small thing that makes someone’s day.

The world is hard enough.

Let’s be part of a movement that lifts others up. In good times and in hard times.

After all, you never know what someone is going through.

Need some ideas for this week’s challenge? Try one of these:

  • Give a hug.
  • Smile and say something nice to a sibling or friend.
  • Say thank you after a meal.
  • Take coffee to a friend
  • Share a story with your pet.
  • Hold the door open.
  • Help someone carry in groceries.
  • Wave and say “hi” to a neighbor.
  • Make a thank-you card.
  • Decide how you will give this holiday season. And then get started.
