Make it one to remember
Good morning. I’ve been thinking about how quickly ordinary moments become the ones we treasure.
Rarely is it because everything went perfectly. It’s because we were there. We put the phone down. We lingered. We laughed over something silly. We started a tradition without realizing it would become one.
The holidays have a funny way of reminding us that the best memories aren’t planned to perfection. They’re lived.
So today, I hope you’ll find one small moment to be fully present. It might end up being the one everyone remembers years from now.
Now pull up a chair. We saved you the best seat.

STORIES FROM THE TABLE
Shawna almost let the day slip by.
There were dishes to wash, coolers to pack, and one more thing on her to-do list. But then she looked outside and saw her kids laughing as they made shapes with sparklers, their faces glowing brighter than the fireworks.
So she put her phone down.
She grabbed a lawn chair, accepted the melting popsicle her youngest insisted she try, and watched the sky slowly change from blue to gold.
As the fireworks lit up the night, she realized it wasn’t the perfect picnic or the picture-perfect decorations her family would remember.
It was the laughter between bursts of color. The sticky fingers. The stories told on a blanket under the stars. The feeling of everyone being together.
And she smiled, knowing that the most meaningful holidays aren’t measured by how much we do.
But by how fully we’re present for the moments we share. ❤️
