Moments you’ll remember
Good morning. I’ve been thinking about the power of small moments lately.
The kind that don’t look extraordinary while they’re happening. A laugh over tacos at dinner. A random question that gets everyone talking. A clue in a game that makes someone shout, “Wait—I know this!”
Most of the time, connection isn’t built in giant milestones. It’s built in tiny pauses we choose again and again.
Now, here’s what’s on the table today. We saved you the best seat.

SITTING WITH THIS
Some nights, family dinner feels like more work than it is worth.
The dishes pile up fast. Someone complains about the food. Another spills their drink before everyone even sits down. And between the busy schedules and constant distractions, it would be easier just to eat separately and move on with the night.
But one evening, as I sat down listening to my kids laugh over something ridiculous (who could go the most days in a row eating tacos), I realized something important.
It’s not really about the meal.
It’s about the pause.
The few minutes each day where everyone comes back together again. Where stories are shared, worries slip out unexpectedly, and memories form in ways no one notices at the time.
Years from now, my family probably won’t remember what was served for dinner.
But I think they will remember this feeling.
Being together.
