Memories in the making

Good morning. Summer teaches us to slow down. And reminds us that the best days are often the ones when we feel most connected to the ones we love.

As we get closer to the 4th of July, I hope you make room for laughter around the table, conversations that linger, and little traditions that become lifelong memories. They don’t have to be elaborate. Just intentional.

So pour yourself something warm, pull up a chair, and let’s begin.

TABLE WISDOM

“Tradition is not the worship of ashes, but the preservation of fire.” — Gustav Mahler

THANKFUL THURSDAY

And happy Thankful Thursday!

This week, I’m grateful for…

  • Long summer evenings. The kids have rediscovered the delight of catching fireflies on our trail walks. And we’ve named our creek snakes “Frank” and “Jeffrey.”
  • Family traditions. Even the simplest ones, like our summer walks, become the backdrop of the stories we tell for years. (Frank and Jeffrey are probably out there right now, not caring about any of this. But the kids who named them will remember it forever)
  • Fresh starts. Every morning reminds me that today doesn’t have to look like yesterday. We can always make a change.

What are you grateful for on this Thankful Thursday? Hit reply and share. You’ll love how it makes you feel!
