My February Goals – Week 4 of 4
Hi there! This real-life series shares my goals, bucket list items, and progress made.
This Month’s Goals
For background on these goals, see the original February goals post >>
Stay tuned for next week! I’ll be sharing a whole new set of goals for March – using ideas from the Spring Bucket list.
1. Visit a new Coffee Shop
Done!
2. Do the February reading challenge
Done and Dusted. I talked about 1 & 2 on February goals: week 2.
Check out the February reading challenge >>
3. Enjoy a Valentine’s Day dinner with the kids
Done. I shared this in February goals week 3
4. Do something with my hubs for Valentine’s Day too
Last year, we dropped the ball on our 15th wedding anniversary. It was a big bummer.
So, this year, I promised myself that we would celebrate three major holidays – Valentine’s Day, Anniversary, and Christmas/New Years. Even if it meant locking ourselves in a room for 15 minutes to drink champagne. Which is exactly what we did.
Would you like to save this idea?
By chance, I happened to be next to a fancy chocolate place a few days ago. So, I splurged knowing that this date was coming up. It was really fun to try the different chocolates. They were works of art!
5. Write for Wealthy Woman Finance
New posts are up over here! My favorites this week:
- Free Chores for Money Charts – great for paying for kids chores
- Fun Disney Vacation Savings Trackers
- Wealthy Woman Highlights – Barbara Corcoran
6. Watch a documentary
7. Spend more time on the nearby trail
It was a struggle this week. My little one was sick and it was hard to get out. Which is a bummer because the weather has been beautiful. I’d say I walked 2-3 times total.
8. Plan one future trip
Yesterday, we booked places in Dallas and Austin for our upcoming Texas road trip!
If you have any recommendations for what to do in these cities, please leave a comment below. I’d love to know what you like!
9. Eat more salads that don’t taste like salads.
My goal was to eat three salads this week. I just realized that I only ate two. Darn it!
For the one in the picture, I used leftover salmon from dinner. I found cheese and dried corn from an old salad mix we used the cabbage out of but not the toppings. It was delicious.
I’ll update you every Monday to share how I’m doing with these goals.
