My Spring Reboot: 8 April Goals – Week 1 of 4

Hi there! This series shares my goals, bucket list items, and progress made every month.

This Month’s Goals

In March, life felt a bit like surviving instead of thriving. This month’s goals reflect that. I also used spring bucket list ideas for inspiration.

1. Do a Digital Detox on Sundays

I could use a tech break lately. So, on Sundays, I’ll put my phone in the kitchen cabinet for the day. I can pull it out when I need it, but no work, to-dos, shopping, or scrolling mindlessly.

I want to spend my time outdoors, on self-care, with family and friends, or on the goals below!

2. Read More This Month

For the reading challenge, I’m reading Ask for It: How Women Can Use the Power of Negotiation to Get What They Really Want. It’s been on my “to read” bookshelf for at least a year. I’m excited to make that pile a little smaller this month!

April goals, books to read

I also want to re-read my favorite book the 5 am Club. (I find it inspiring when I need a boost.) And a new health book I’ve seen recommended called Outlive. Lots of reading this month!

3. Spring Clean My Life

I need to get my to-do list and mental load back to a manageable state. This month, I will declutter, simplify, automate, or delegate one thing every week of the month.

4. Meal Prep at Least One Thing Every Week

This could be a simple salad for lunch, smoothie packs, granola – doesn’t matter. Just one thing to make healthy eating easier during the week.

Sunday will be a great time for this since I’m doing a digital detox anyway.

5. Have a Garage Sale

This puts cash in our pocket but also encourages us to clean out the house.

6. Watch a Documentary (12 for the Year)

I got a bonus movie in last week: King Richard. It was so fascinating! It’s the story of Venus and Serena Williams’ childhood. I recommend it 1,000%!

3/12 for the year

7. Ask Dinner Table Questions

I’ve noticed my oldest is keeping quiet more at dinner. I’d like to pull him out with more creative questions this month (at least 7 nights). I’ll be using lots of the questions around the site and from the email newsletters.

8. Visit a new Coffee Shop

2/12 for the year

I’ll update you every Monday to share how I’m doing with these goals.
