Easy St. Patrick’s Day Minute To Win It Games For Kids

1. Froot Loop Pyramid Stack
Supplies: Froot Loops cereal
How to Play: Players have one minute to build the tallest Froot Loops pyramid. Only the standing Froot Loops at the end of the minute count. So if their pyramid falls, they have to try to rebuild quickly.
Adjust the challenge: Decide how many Froot Loops players will need to use for the pyramid base before starting.
2. Froot Loop Drop
Supplies: Froot Loop cereal, plates, empty bowls or cups
How to Play: Players stand on a chair and drop Froot Loops into a cup or bowl on the floor. The person who successfully lands the most Froot Loops in the jar within a minute wins.
To make it easier or harder: Modify the size of the bowl or cup depending on the age.
3. Balance The Rainbow
Supplies: Froot Loops cereal, large popsicle sticks
How to Play: Players see how many Froot Loops they can balance on their popsicle stick in one minute.
Make it harder: Players hold the popsicle stick in their mouth while they balance the Froot Loops.
4. Don’t Blow It
Supplies: Froot Loops cereal, straws, bowls
How to Play: Players have one minute to transfer as many Froot Loops from a table to a cup or bowl. The catch? They have to use the straw to move them.
Make it easier: If young kids find this hard, use a spoon instead.
5. Froot Loops Move

Supplies: Froot Loops cereal, straws, tape
How to Play: Players use straws to blow the Froot Loops and see who has the least on their side after one minute.
6. Rainbow Race
Supplies: Froot Loops cereal, pipe cleaners
How to Play: Players race to see who can thread the most cereal onto the pipe cleaner in one minute.
Make it harder: Players must thread the colors in order of the rainbow (red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple).

Supplies: Froot Loops cereal, plates
How to Play: Players race to sort Froot Loops by color. The person with the most sorted after one-minute wins.
8. Roll A Rainbow

How to Play: Arrange six Froot Loops in a row, as shown. Players take turns rolling a die, aiming to match the number rolled to a Froot Loop in their lineup. For each matching number, the player removes (or eats) the corresponding Froot Loop. The first player to roll all six numbers and clear their lineup wins! Or the player to clear the most in the minute wins.

How to Play: Players must use tweezers to pick up Skittles and place them into a bowl. The player with the most Skittles in their bowl after one minute wins.

Supplies: Skittles, Cups
How to Play: Partners stand 3 feet apart. One partner throws Skittles into the cup of the other partner. after one minute, the team with the most Skittles in the cup wins. Play again and switch who throws and who catches!
11. Skittles Hunt
Supplies: Skittles, plates, whipped cream
How To Play: Each player receives a plate with 5-10 Skittles buried in whipped cream. The goal is to dig out the Skittles the fastest without using hands.
You can use any small type of candy, cereal, or dried fruit for this game!
12. Let’s Face It
Supplies: Mint Oreos (St. Patrick’s Day theme!)
How To Play: This is a hilarious game where each player places an Oreo on their forehead. The objective is to move the Oreo to their mouth using only facial muscles. It’s a race against time and gravity!

How to Play: Have players leave the room while you hide the gold coins or pennies. When they return, the player who collects the most in a minute wins.

How to Play: Give each participant a small bowl of Lucky Charms cereal and challenge them to stack as many marshmallow shapes as they can in one minute. The tallest tower wins!
16. Lucky Charms Shake

How to Play: Fill a 2-liter bottle with Lucky Charms cereal. Tape the filled bottle to another empty 2-liter bottle. Make sure all of the Lucky Charms are in one of the bottles. The quickest person to shake all of the cereal into the other bottle is the winner!
Pro Tip: We filled our bottle a little over 1/3 full of Lucky Charms. We tried to use mostly leftover cereal from the other games we played to be less wasteful. Figuring out how to design a way to funnel the cereal into the bottles would be a great activity for older kids too!
17. Lucky String
Supplies: Lucky Charms cereal, String
How to Play: Two players work together to string as many lucky charms cereal pieces as they can on a string in one minute. (This works with Froot Loops also.)
18. Potato Roll
Supplies: potatoes, spoons
How to Play: Players use the spoons to roll a potato to a designated spot and back in less than a minute. Have a lot of players? Make it a relay!
19. Hot Potato Toss
Supplies: Potatoes
How to Play: Players form a circle and toss the potato to each other as quickly as possible. When the one-minute timer goes off, the person holding the potato is out. Keep playing until there is one player left!
Variation: Use two potatoes for larger groups.
