Dear Struggle…

I heard some interesting advice the other day. Someone shared that when they were struggling with an issue, it helped to “write a letter to their challenges.”

So, I’ve been trying this – and LOVE it. Mine doesn’t take the form of a full letter – it’s a journal paragraph.

But what happens when you write to your challenge is quite stunning.

By doing this, you:

  • can put your problem into perspective. While it feels like a mountain in your head, it may just be a molehill in the grand scheme of life.
  • process your emotions around it. What is making you afraid? Or angry? Why does it bother you so much?
  • gives you a chance to answer. Once you process, your mind naturally shifts. Often, your heart already knows the right answer or path to address your problem. It just needs a chance to be heard.

Give it a try! It can be a game-changer for helping you let go.
