Objective of the Christmas Candy Dice Game
Have fun rolling the die and swapping candy and treats without tons of setup or clean up!
Supplies You Need
All you need to play is:
- A group of 3 or more players
- Candy, treats or small fun prize items (see ideas below)
- A bowl, basket or bag (optional) to put in the middle for the extra items
- This creates an element of surprise when pulling items out of the middle!
- If playing with a large group or in a classroom setting, dumping it all in the middle may be easier.
- One die
- The free printable at the bottom of this post!
How to Play the Christmas Candy Dice Game
- Players sit in a circle.
- Give each player four pieces of candy/treats to start.
- Place the remaining candy in a bowl or pile in the center.
- Players roll the die and follow the directions on the printable.
- The first player to collect 10 pieces wins!
Everyone is a winner in this Christmas game! Each player gets to keep all the candy and prizes they collect, even if they aren’t the first to reach 10 pieces.
Pro Tip: Playing this game at a classroom Christmas party? Set aside a few extra candies or treats to hand out at the end. That way, if some kids end up with fewer goodies than others, everyone can leave with a little something extra!
