Reset, Refresh
Good morning from the table.
If I’m being honest, back-to-school feels like a LOT in our house right now. Because the kids’ ages are spread out, they’re in three different schools this year.
So much stuff. So many schedules. So many things to remember.
So today, we’re not just making room in the closets and junk drawers. But in our schedules, routines, and minds, too.
Because clearing out what you don’t need is exactly what makes space for what you want.
Pull up a chair. Let’s lighten the load together.

STORIES FROM THE TABLE
What do you need to let go of?
For years, Mara carried the memory like a stone in her pocket. Small enough to ignore most days, heavy enough to slow her steps.
It showed up in quiet moments. Late nights. The spaces where peace should have been.
One afternoon, while cleaning out an old drawer, she found the note she had kept folded and refolded until the edges softened.
She read it once, then again, and felt the familiar ache rise. But this time, something shifted.
She saw how tightly she’d been holding on, believing the weight was proof that it mattered.
Mara took a breath and let the paper fall into the trash.
Nothing dramatic happened.
The world didn’t pause.
But as she walked away, her shoulders felt lighter. She realized letting go wasn’t about forgetting. It was about choosing freedom over carrying what no longer served her.
And for the first time in a long while, she moved forward unburdened.
