Good morning,

Most people talk about doing great things.

But it’s not intention that matters. It’s action.

It’s…

  • talking to your kids even when they’re moody (or you’re moody!)
  • taking care of yourself when you have 5,000 other things to do.
  • trying over and over again. Even when you fail. Or forget.

Even when you see no progress.

Because at the end of the day, you know that it’s action, not words that build the life you’re dreaming of.

Brick by brick. (Or in this case, pot by pot!)

The Power of Consistent Action

A ceramics teacher divided his class into two groups.

  • Students in group A would get an A at the end of the semester if they made 1,000 pots – regardless of quality.
  • Group B would get an A at the end of the semester if they turned in just one near-perfect pot.

Only one of the two groups got the A.

Who did better at the end?

The group of students who made 1,000 pots did.

Does this surprise you?

While group B was theorizing, group A was making, tweaking, and experimenting as they worked. And because they got so much practice, they improved exponentially.

What’s the takeaway for you?

Stop overthinking and just do it already.😊
